Biarkan Masa Depan Datang Sendiri

May 24, 2011

Assalamualaikum..

{Telah pasti datangnya ketetapan Allah, maka janganlah kamu meminta agar disegerakan (datang)nya.}
(QS. An-Nahl: 1)

Jangan pernah mendahului sesuatu yang belum terjadi! Apakah Anda

{Syaitan menjanjikan (menakut-nakuti) kamu dengan kemiskinan dan menyuruh kamu berbuat kejahatan (kikir), sedang Allah menjanjikan untukmu ampunan daripada-Nya dan karunia.}
(QS. Al-Baqarah: 268)

Steadfast aNd Have Faith..

May 21, 2011

Assalamualaikum wbt..
Today i officially just finished my forensic clinical round. I just got back from my examination and hopefully Allah will grant me good marks. So what have you guys been up to nowadays? I think most of you in Malaysia are spending your vacation for semester break. I can't wait to go back home.

Anyway, today, i just want to share with all of you about my experiences in studying medicine here in Mansoura. Mansoura is located in Ad-Daqahliyyah about 3 hours ride from Cairo, the capital city of Egypt.

I have almost been here for four years now and still there is about 2 and a half years to go. When I first came here, just the thought of spending my 6 years here in Egypt felt so long and kind of depressing. Well, aside being afar from my family, i kind of having problems with other things too like language barrier,me speaking english/malay while these arabs their main languages are arabic/french and trying to mix around with new friends and new environment, as I mention before i arrived here quite late than the others. Well, Egypt did not really woo me back then.

Anyhow, now, i feel like it was just like yesterday that i have first set my foot here in Mansoura. Truly, if we believe in Allah words and keep holding on, insyaAllah He will guide us to the right path and everything then will feel easy. When we are feeling sad and lonely, just set in your mind that Allah is always with you no matter where you are and what you do so when you first learn to stand up with your own foot you will not feel afraid instead you will bravely try to stand on your own.

“Allah does not burden a soul with more than it can bear.” (Qur’an 2: 286)

Eventhough you stagger later on and fall, you will not feel like it is the end of the world, but you will try to stand up again because you will feel like there is a force behind you that will always be there for you to catch you whenever you fall. And when you often recite Quran you will have this feeling that whatever is planned for you by God, it is for the best. He knows best. So, insyaAllah He will give the best for His worshippers.

For myself, i think the ability to fully believe in God no matter what you do, i cannot really explain it, but if you steadfast in your faith, insyaAllah you will feel that with do'a, everything you wish for will come true. It does not mean that if you want success you can just sit around and do nothing but hoping with your prayer only, your wish will come true. No,not like that, but what I meant here is by doing your BEST and praying besides taking care of your relationships and responsibilities with others, insyaAllah, everything you want in life and every hope you have for your future will be granted.

And lastly, remember that our life here is only temporary, Heaven and Hell is real, so do not race for the wealth and popularity until you forget to be thankful to Allah SWT. Take care of our 'ibadah' so that not only we will be successful on earth but also we will be tremendously succeed for being in His Jannah later on. That's all for now. Assalamualaikum wbt~ =)

perseverance in life..

During times of deep trial, despair, and sadness, Muslims seek
comfort and guidance in the words of Allah in the Qur'an. Allah
reminds us that all people will be tried and tested in life, and
calls upon Muslims to bear these trials with "patient perseverance
and prayer." Indeed, Allah reminds us that many people before us
have suffered and had their faith tested; so too will we be tried
and tested in this life.
There are dozens upon dozens of verses that remind Muslims to
be patient and trust in Allah during these times of trial.
Among them:
"Seek Allah's help with patient perseverance and prayer.
It is indeed hard except for those who are humble."
(2:45)
"Oh you who believe! Seek help with patient perseverance
and prayer, for God is with those who patiently persevere."
(2:153)
"Be sure We shall test you with something of fear and
hunger, some loss in goods, lives, and the fruits of your
toil. But give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere.
Those who say, when afflicted with calamity, 'To Allah we
belong, and to Him is our return.' They are those on whom
descend blessings from their Lord, and mercy. They are the
ones who receive guidance."
(2:155-157)
"Oh you who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy.
Vie in such perseverance, strengthen each other, and be pious,
that you may prosper."
(3:200)
"And be steadfast in patience, for verily Allah will not
suffer the reward of the righteous to perish."
(11:115)
"Be patient, for your patience is with the help of Allah."
(16:127)
"Patiently, then, persevere - for the Promise of Allah is
true, and ask forgiveness for your faults, and celebrate
the praises of your Lord in the evening and in the morning."
(40:55)
"No one will be granted such goodness except those who
exercise patience and self-restraint, none but persons
of the greatest good fortune."
(41:35)
"Verily man is in loss, except such as have faith,
and do righteous deeds, and join together in the mutual
enjoining of truth, and of patience and constancy."
(103:2-3)
As Muslims, we should not let our emotions get the better of us.
It is certainly difficult for a person to look at the tragedies of the
world today and not feel helpless and sad. But believers are called to
put their trust in their Lord, and not to fall into despair or
hopelessness. We must continue to do what Allah has called us to do:
put our trust in Him, perform good deeds, and stand as witnesses for
justice and truth.
"It is not righteousness that you turn your faces towards
East or West.
But it is righteousness to believe in Allah and the Last Day,
And the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers;
To spend of your substance, out of love for Him,
For your kin, for orphans, for the needy,
for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves;
To be steadfast in prayer
And give in charity;
To fulfill the contracts which you have made;
And to be firm and patient, in pain and adversity
And throughout all periods of panic.
Such are the people of truth, the God-fearing.

Qur'an 2:177
Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.
Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.

Qur'an 94:56

to you friends~

May 19, 2011

Assalamualaikum. Hey there~ Just finishing up my study for the day, and now feel like i want to write something in my blog.

"The believers are nothing else than brothers, so make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allah, than you may receive mercy " ( al-Quran, 49:10 )

Have you ever met someone for the first time and when you get to know her, your mind just popped that maybe she is your actual-sworn-eternal friend. The friend you have been waiting for. You guys talk and then it seems to you that you guys like the same thing and have the same hobby and so on and so forth. So, you guys are just meant to be together.

Well, actually that would be so strange and grotesque(bizarre) because people are just simply different. Maybe she likes to cook and you too like to cook but in some other way maybe she has other habits that is so not you like sports car or whatever. This differences actually that bond people together because if you and your friend like to do same stuff over and over again,it just gets dull and boring. Well maybe first time doing same things together is going to be exciting but sooner or later, you will experience this. Don't need me then to tell i told you so right eh?

Instead, why don't we introduce new things, the things we love and fine fascinating to do, so that maybe our friends will find them interesting too. It will be too tiring to find similarities between people because people are just meant to be different from one another. That's just facts talking.

Okay, sometimes you might have troubles and arguments with your BFF and you just cannot cope with her attitude. Well, perhaps you have that kind of attitude too that make your friends feel you are bothersome. Think positive and try to solve the problem maturely. Don't run away from it and think that you are the right one and she's the one who needs to apologize.

Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah’s Apostle said, “Do not hate one another, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert each other, and O, Allah’s worshipers! Be brothers. Lo! It is not permissible for any Muslim to desert (not talk to) his brother (Muslim) for more than three days.”

Self attitude adjustment is important in oneself just to know how to act the right way at the right time. Just think. If actually the fault is yours and you don't want to say you are sorry then what's going to happen to your friendship? End it? Make new friends? Maybe your friends are scared to say things that might hurt your feelings. That's why they prefer to stay quiet and let you yourself do the thinking.

If you quarrel with your friend over an advice she has given you, it is just plain wrong. It just proved that you are snobby and you don't want to listen to your friend who cares for you. Our environment shapes us to be who we are. That means our friends do too. If they advice you, it just that they want you to be a better person. Not for themselves, it's for your own good. So, if you fight with your friends, reconcile, forgive and forget ok! Don't hesitate and Don't hold grudges against your friends!

Anyway, making friends is a good way to correlate with our environment. Don't lock yourself in your room and refuse to talk to anyone because i think if you do that you will end up in a psychiatric ward. People who are alone tend to have mental illness because they don't speak up their mind or maybe, they just like to talk to themselves? certainly that just proved they suffer mental problems. Sorry~ Just joking.=)

On the authority of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (رضي الله عنه ), the Prophet (صلي الله عليه و سلم ) said:

A good friend and a bad friend are like a perfume-seller and a blacksmith: The perfume-seller might give you some perfume as a gift, or you might buy some from him, or at least you might smell its fragrance. As for the blacksmith, he might singe your clothes, and at the very least you will breathe in the fumes of the furnace.

So, last words from me, remember that friends are the ones who are with us during ups and downs. If we choose the right type of friends, insyaAllah we will be guided and have a blessed life not only with the people around us but with Allah SWT too because good friends will insyaAllah make us want to race to do good things in life. Remember that! Hope you have a blissful day.. taa~

p/s : sure this applied to our soon to be partner in life too.. =)

Time and Blessings~

May 18, 2011

Assalamualaikum. It has been a while since i last updated this blog..i hope you guys are in the pink of health same as i do.Alhamdulillah..Alhamdulillah i am really grateful for His blessings that He has given me the opportunity to still be alive till this day, writing here again although my time really consumed me for a while now. Anyway, today i just want to remind you all about the given time and the blessings from Allah SWT. I just want to talk about this because i want to remember myself especially and you guys on the precious time given to us by Allah SWT.

" Good health and spare time are two of the blessings of Allah with respect to which many people are deceived." -sahih al-Bukhari.

TIME is a simple word really not that i want to explain it here but i just want to ask you guys what have you been doing with the time given to you?i myself ask this question occasionally and for the zillionth time still i regret for most of the time i spent for. Because when you look back, you will be reminded of your time doing worthless things and if its for the good purpose you'll just be happy but if there is no so-call-meaning behind all that.you just felt worse.

Let me bring you guys to the world of afterlife..
If we died doing good deeds most in our life, when we are carried to our grave later on, we welcomed it and we will feel a great blessing just to be buried but if we died and we have only done bad things in our life, we will struggle and really do not want to be buried because we already know then what awaits us in the grave.

We often heard about this. When the funeral is over and the last person of the funeral congregation has stepped 7 steps away from the grave, the angels Munkar and Nakir prop the deceased soul upright in the grave and ask three questions: "Who is your Lord? Who is your Prophet? What is your religion?". A righteous believer will respond correctly, saying that their Lord is Allah, that Muhammad is their prophet and that their religion is Islam. If the deceased answers correctly, the time spent awaiting the resurrection is pleasant. Those who do not answer as described above endure the Punishment of the Grave until judgement day.

So, which do you think are you going to be? Do you think simply because you are a muslim you can answer all those correctly? Well you are wrong. Know why? Because simply our mouth cannot respond to everything that had been asked and cannot utter even one word in the grave. Our limbs and parts are going to be the one who answer all those questions and they knew well what we did in our past. So now, tell me, if your legs and heart were really heavy and you often procrastinate solah especially how do you think your limbs would answer? If you often neglect our prophet advices and tend to do things the wrong way as well as do not want to idolize our prophet Muhammad SAW, preferably Justin Bieber or someone else do you think your eyes and ears will be able to tell the answer as you wanted?? And if nowadays you think that your life is nowhere that upheld amar maaruf nahi munkar and you do not do things as islam asked, so how, tell me, how do you think your legs, arms, nose, eyes and your body will all be synchronized to proudly say that :
" My Lord is Allah SWT."
" My Prophet is no other than Muhammad SAW."
" My religion is no other than ISLAM."

To all my dear friends, let us sit back and think for a while what we have done so far in our lives, what have we given for our beloved religion islam and what can we give more for it. InsyaAllah Allah wills , we will all be gathered in Jannah one day and i really hope that we can all be there together so please if u think that you have been wasting much of your time doing purposeless things do change and be better for the future and please, i beg to do not procrastinate because our time here is a blessing from Him, Allah The Almighty.

"..indeed, Allah will not change the condition of the people until they change what is in themselves" Surah Ar-Ra'd, verse 11.

Till then, Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi taala wabarakatuh.
