Time and Blessings~

May 18, 2011

Assalamualaikum. It has been a while since i last updated this blog..i hope you guys are in the pink of health same as i do.Alhamdulillah..Alhamdulillah i am really grateful for His blessings that He has given me the opportunity to still be alive till this day, writing here again although my time really consumed me for a while now. Anyway, today i just want to remind you all about the given time and the blessings from Allah SWT. I just want to talk about this because i want to remember myself especially and you guys on the precious time given to us by Allah SWT.

" Good health and spare time are two of the blessings of Allah with respect to which many people are deceived." -sahih al-Bukhari.

TIME is a simple word really not that i want to explain it here but i just want to ask you guys what have you been doing with the time given to you?i myself ask this question occasionally and for the zillionth time still i regret for most of the time i spent for. Because when you look back, you will be reminded of your time doing worthless things and if its for the good purpose you'll just be happy but if there is no so-call-meaning behind all that.you just felt worse.

Let me bring you guys to the world of afterlife..
If we died doing good deeds most in our life, when we are carried to our grave later on, we welcomed it and we will feel a great blessing just to be buried but if we died and we have only done bad things in our life, we will struggle and really do not want to be buried because we already know then what awaits us in the grave.

We often heard about this. When the funeral is over and the last person of the funeral congregation has stepped 7 steps away from the grave, the angels Munkar and Nakir prop the deceased soul upright in the grave and ask three questions: "Who is your Lord? Who is your Prophet? What is your religion?". A righteous believer will respond correctly, saying that their Lord is Allah, that Muhammad is their prophet and that their religion is Islam. If the deceased answers correctly, the time spent awaiting the resurrection is pleasant. Those who do not answer as described above endure the Punishment of the Grave until judgement day.

So, which do you think are you going to be? Do you think simply because you are a muslim you can answer all those correctly? Well you are wrong. Know why? Because simply our mouth cannot respond to everything that had been asked and cannot utter even one word in the grave. Our limbs and parts are going to be the one who answer all those questions and they knew well what we did in our past. So now, tell me, if your legs and heart were really heavy and you often procrastinate solah especially how do you think your limbs would answer? If you often neglect our prophet advices and tend to do things the wrong way as well as do not want to idolize our prophet Muhammad SAW, preferably Justin Bieber or someone else do you think your eyes and ears will be able to tell the answer as you wanted?? And if nowadays you think that your life is nowhere that upheld amar maaruf nahi munkar and you do not do things as islam asked, so how, tell me, how do you think your legs, arms, nose, eyes and your body will all be synchronized to proudly say that :
" My Lord is Allah SWT."
" My Prophet is no other than Muhammad SAW."
" My religion is no other than ISLAM."

To all my dear friends, let us sit back and think for a while what we have done so far in our lives, what have we given for our beloved religion islam and what can we give more for it. InsyaAllah Allah wills , we will all be gathered in Jannah one day and i really hope that we can all be there together so please if u think that you have been wasting much of your time doing purposeless things do change and be better for the future and please, i beg to do not procrastinate because our time here is a blessing from Him, Allah The Almighty.

"..indeed, Allah will not change the condition of the people until they change what is in themselves" Surah Ar-Ra'd, verse 11.

Till then, Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi taala wabarakatuh.
